Hi everyone. My name is Kelly Brown. I am the comic book artist for Woe is Oz. Below is brief process the entire production of the first comic book.

I started off with character designs. Most of the character concepts were developed by Ethan. Then from there, I came up with sketches for the character designs. These were all sketched out in ball point pen.
After the character designs were done, I moved to pencils:
After the pencils were tighten, they were inked in a 10x15 by format:
After the inking process was done, I took each page into Adobe Illustrator and colored everything with the pen tool:
Each page was prepped for lettering by setting guidelines for the word bubbles:
